Free Climbing

There are many different types of rock climbing, but none is more common than free climbing. When it comes to free climbing the climber uses no artificial aids. In this way, the climber will use only hands, feet and other parts of the body(make sure you are in shape).

Ropes and protective equipment are used only for protection against the consequences of a fall. The term is used in contrast to aid climbing, a much less prevalent practice in which equipment is used directly in order to make progress.

What Is BMX?

BMX is like no other sport out there that people have tried. No one sits on the bench, everyone gets an oppurtunity to ride and to complete the race. You are only limited by your own abilities. Every major sporting event is officially sanctioned by a recognized organization and BMX is no exception. Hunterdon County BMX, Egg Harbor Township BMX, Central Jersey BMX and Mullica Hill BMX are all affiliated with the National Bicycle League(NBL).

Surfing For Beginners

When learning how to surf it always helps to start when you’re young, but age isn’t always as important as where you are at physically. The best cross-training for surfing is swimming. At least 95 percent of your surfing time will be spent paddling rather than riding waves. To make this a bearable experience, you must have a strong upper body. A pool will work, but the best option is open-ocean swimming.

Portable Splint Secures Safety During Extreme Sports

This portable plastic splint takes up a small space inside a backpack but brings big relief when holding a broken limb together long enough to get medical help and providing soothing warmth in the meantime. This special plastic fuses itself together in about five minutes using the same chemical-reactive heat technology used in hand warmers.

Bouldering

Good spotting is the art of guiding the climber’s fall rather than trying to catch him/her. If you’re asked to spot someone, you should aim to guide the fall by taking the hips so he or she lands on both feet. If it’s your first time, ask another climber to assist you. Until you’re an expert climber it’s not a good idea to climb on your own, especially not on higher problems.
